A cold cold night to be outside – and some twat didn’t wear enough layers. This was the first of two nights that REM would play here – different sets on both nights.

I forgot how many great hits that this band has had over the years. The nice thing about tonight was that Michael did loads of talking to the audience between songs – entertaining and funny as well.
